Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026 • Maintainer: Ajit Kumar (AjitDev01)

1. Introduction & Ownership

This Privacy Policy explains how Skelcraft (accessible at https://skelcraft.ajitdev.com/) handles information. Skelcraft is an open-source React UI toolkit developed and maintained by Ajit Kumar (online username: AjitDev01).

We believe in complete transparency and minimal data footprint. Our documentation and playground website is designed to be informative without tracking or profiling you.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number on this website.
  • No User Accounts: Skelcraft does not have registration forms, login systems, or passwords.
  • No Payment Data: Skelcraft is completely free and open source. We do not collect credit cards, banking information, or billing data.
  • No Advertising or Tracking Cookies: We do not deploy marketing pixels, behavioral trackers, or third-party ad networks (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel).

3. Automatically Collected Infrastructure Logs

Like virtually all web services, our hosting provider and edge content delivery network (CDN, such as Vercel) automatically record standard HTTP request logs when you visit the site. These logs may contain:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Browser type and operating system user-agent
  • Referring website address and requested pages/assets
  • Date, time, and HTTP status code of each request

Purpose of Processing: These logs are used strictly for network routing, monitoring uptime, mitigating Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, and maintaining platform security. They are not merged with any identifying profiles or used for marketing.

4. Cookies & Browser Storage

Skelcraft operates as a cookie-free website. We do not set any first-party or third-party cookies on your device.

Local Storage: Certain interactive controls in the playground studio or code viewer may read or write temporary preferences (such as your chosen active code tab) inside your own browser's HTML5 localStorage. This data never leaves your computer and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. Third-Party Links & Platforms

Our documentation and footer include outbound links to third-party services, including:

  • GitHub (github.com/ajitdev01/skelcraft)
  • npm (npmjs.com/package/skelcraft)
  • DEV Community (dev.to/ajitdev01)
  • Medium (medium.com/@ajitdev01)
  • Ajit Kumar Portfolio (ajitdev.com)

When you click on an external link, you leave Skelcraft and are subject to the privacy practices and terms of those independent third-party platforms. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

6. User Rights & Contact Information

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), users have rights regarding their personal data. Because Skelcraft does not collect or retain personal user profiles or account databases, there is no personal data store to inspect or delete.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to clarify any technical implementation, you can reach the maintainer via our public GitHub Issues at https://github.com/ajitdev01/skelcraft/issues or connect via ajitdev.com.
